In about 45 minutes, we were able to generate the below analysis for one model and our OEM customer had answers for the entire segment in 2 hours.
Our NHTSA Dashboards for Complaints, Recalls, and Investigations allow you to filter on demand for a multitude of attributes like keywords, incident report dates, makes, model years, components, whether there was a crash, fire, injury, or death, and much more...
We extracted these details and created an Excel spreadsheet with ALL Complaints, Recalls, and Investigations belonging to the Honda Ridgeline.
We've applied a few of our available filters in order to illustrate the types of information we can extract and have summarized them below:
Honda Ridgeline - Overall (1st and 2nd generation)
Honda Ridgeline - 2nd generation (2017-present)
- Complaints - in total, most of the NHTSA Complaints were related to Electrical Systems or Fuel/Propulsion Systems:
- When restricting to complaints where there was a crash, most issues were related to Brakes, then Airbags, Speed Control, and Unknown/Other:
- These include complaints related to the Honda-Sensing performance - either not helping prevent a crash, or crashing after CMBS (Honda's Automatic Emergency Braking system) intervened. Two in particular indicate medical attention:
- Recalls - these are the specific recalls that apply to the 2nd generation Honda Ridgeline:
This is perfect. Exactly what we were looking for and then some. I appreciate your help in this effort.
